Jeffrey A. Levy, EA, MAAA Practice Leader, Retirement Plan Services
Jeff has more than 25 years of experience in providing strategic consulting, plan design and administrative services to all types of retirement plans. As Practice Leader for Retirement Plan Services, Jeff is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and account management for the overall retirement plan business, encompassing defined benefit and defined contribution programs, and post-employment benefit obligations, asset liability management and fiduciary oversight. Jeff is an Enrolled Actuary and is an active member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He has been a frequent speaker at the Annual Enrolled Actuaries Meeting and other industry events on the role of technology and benefit trends.
Frank Lonardo Practice Leader, Health & Welfare Services
Frank has more than 15 years of experience in the employee benefits field, and has unique expertise in consulting with Fortune 500 companies as well as healthcare systems, after having served as a Director of Benefits in a New York City hospital for several years. As Practice Leader for Health & Welfare Services, Frank is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and account management for the overall health and welfare plan business, including spearheading innovative approaches to the marketplace, such as the creation and growth of an alliance designed exclusively for healthcare organizations to better manage their pharmacy benefits. Frank is a frequent speaker at industry events. He has addressed The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine on employer healthcare issues and the Association of Healthcare Human Resources Administrators of Greater New York conferences.
Erin M. O'Connor, Esq. Practice Leader, Human Resources & HR Technology Services
Erin has over 19 years of experience as a generalist in the human resources practice area, after having served as chief HR executive in two large healthcare organizations. She joined Cammack LaRhette to create the Human Resources practice area to help Human Resources executives align their people with desired business outcomes. Human Resources encompasses HR Technology Services, which is all about creating efficiencies for clients. She also assists the Retirement and Health & Welfare practice areas to address the integration of employee benefits issues with the total employment relationship. Erin is admitted to the New York State Bar and is an active member of the Association of Health Care Human Resources, World at Work and the Society for Human Resource Management.
Mark Manin President
Mark has been practicing in the employee benefits industry for 30 years. As President of Cammack LaRhette Consulting, Mark oversees business development and the firm’s broker-dealer operations and investment advisory services. Mark has served on several Boards of Directors, and has been a guest lecturer and part-time faculty member on labor and benefit related subjects at universities in the New England area. He holds an Associate in Risk Management from the Insurance Institute of America; he is a Certified Instructor for the Employers Council on Flexible Compensation and speaks regularly on matters related to employee benefits. Mark is also the author of many benefits articles and books, including: "Isolating Distortions in a Company’s Compensation Program," "Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Arrangements," "Tax Impact on Benefit Design Under a Cafeteria Plan," "The 403(b) Versus 401(k) Conundrum," and the companion to the Flexible Benefits Answer Book. He is a Registered Principal with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, as well as holds a Registered Investment Advisors designation and insurance licenses in multiple states. He is frequently quoted in the general press as well as professional trade journals.
Emile J. Schoffelen Chief Executive Officer
Emile has more than 25 years of experience in the employee benefits arena. As CEO of Cammack LaRhette Consulting, Emile is focused on the firm’s strategy to continually advance the level of services and expertise available to clients. Under his stewardship, he has expanded the firm’s scope of services to include Health & Welfare Services and Human Resources as well as bolstered Retirement Plan Services with in-house actuarial services for both Defined Benefit Plans and post-employment benefit obligations. Emile is a nationally known speaker on human resources issues. Recent speaking engagements include: The Law Firm CFO Institute, where he gave a presentation on Combating Rising Healthcare Costs, and also at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where he presented a discussion on employer healthcare issues. The National Employee Benefits Consortium, the Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York, and other tax-exempt organizations have sponsored his presentations. Emile is a Chartered Life Underwriter and a General Securities Principal registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Emile is the co-author of a book, Advising Nonprofits, and has written many articles.
